I'm of Irish descent and have auburn hair. As a child, I hated it, but by the time I went to college, I learned to love being a redhead and would never dye my hair.

Some redhaired males are attractive though I don't usually find "carrottops" so. I prefer auburn shades--from almost coppery to darker.
