Red hair...?

i am a confident red head and would like to know why people think they have the right to put me down because of my hair colour?

i wouldnt dare shout at someone because they had a different colour, skin, height etc.

why do people seem to think they have that right?

Hi I have no idea the best think for you to do is to ask that person, so next time someone puts you down about your hair colour than ask them why they think they have the right to put you down.

I would and I bet they wont beable to give you an answer, their either jelous as red hair is lovely, or can't find any other fault to pick at you so they only have this to get at you with. I dont know, But I would deffiantly ask the people who put you down twhy they do it,

Dear red head...how do people put u down...my sister is a red head, i think she has beautiful hair and wouldn't mind the color myself,but she is always saying people are putting her down, I've never herd any1 put her down in fact most people like red heads and tease them b/c they like them, if u don't like the teasing just tell em but i think its an honest mistake especially by the guys they just don't know what to say to the girls so its easier to tease them, and for a red head...well as u know its the hair :-)

well im a redhead and i love it! When i was younger and in middle school i felt out of place and jealous of all the girls who had brown or blonde hair and had highlights. Then i realized how unique it was to have red hair! Im NOT conceited at all but i have people come up to me all the time and ask me what hair color number i use (even though it's natural)- and i just learned to love it.

People who put other people down only do it because of their own insecurities. i guess they feel the need to ridicule others because they are unhappy with themselves. And plus theres a million brunettes and blondes out there..but redheads are special :D

I have boring brown hair, but have been dying it all colours for years, and guess what colour i keep going back to red. Some people do it as a joke - who can rise the redhead's temper - and others do it because they're jealous. There are just so many different shades of red that makes each redhead stand out in their own way, not every colouring can say that.

I'm a redhead and 3 of my 4 siblings are too though none of us have the same shade. My mum used to get stopped by people when she was out with us as kids who would always ask where we got the lovely red hair from (my mum's colourings are dark and sallow). I also had some idiot mesh chewing gum into my long hair that forced me to cut it to a bob.

Everyone has a tendency to what something that someone else has. Whether its boys/girls/clothes/hair, some people are just mean/vicious about it.

Its a pain but just look at it this way - We'll never have to see for hours in a hair salon trying to get our shades and if you do a little research on redheads of the past, you'll find out some interesting facts to shut those nay-sayers up (Bottechelli and his angels are a favourite one, also the theory on the true face of Cleopatra LOL)
