Need advice on getting red hair and doing red makup for book signing?

I have recently been the model for the cover of my grandfathers book, Scarlet in the sky.

In the cover picture I have digitally enhanced red hair- the book says I have flaming red hair--so I was wondering..

this is the cover picture-i hope you can see the hair-should be a brighter prettier red than that-the picture is orangish-i need red red-http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s63/C... need something to dye my hair(ONLY TEMPORARILY) BRIGHT RED RED.Anything cheap--as long as it will make my hair flaming red and it will come out in about a week.Would food coloring or red rit clothing dye work?Also I need help with makeup--I am supposed to be a cowgirl--but a seductive cowgirl-and I should be wearing red rouge and eyeshadow and lipstick-even though it downst go with my skin tone at all.any advice or

don't put clothing dye on your hair! Manic panic has neat temporary dyes.

Once you get the shade of red you want, then go to the makeup counter and experiment until you get a red lipstick that looks good with your new hair color.
