Dying red hair brown...?

I went to a professional to get my naturally red hair dyed brown because I felt it would match my eyebrows better. When it came out it was BEAUTIFUL! The problem is it came out in not even a month. It was a permanent dye, so I'm wondering why that is and how can I dye it brown again and KEEP it brown?

It sounds like who ever did it used cheap dye and may not have been that good of stylist. I have never had that problem but I use special shampoo for hair coloring protection and I make sure I go to the best stylist in the city and if you don't know who to go to in your city just check on citysearch and it will give you the top places to go and expect to pay at good places anywhere from anywhere to 100.00 to 200.00 to have your hair done at a good place.

even the permanent dyes will fade. there are special shampoos to prevent fading. loreal carries a good one. it is easy to go from red to brown with one of the hair dyes that you can get at walmart. i again would go with loreal,they have color saving conditioners in the kit that you will buy. you can do it !!!
