Red hair (Ginger hair) and the UK?

Is it true that people in the UK hate red hair or rather ginger hair? If so, why is that? It seems pretty popular here in the U.S. especially among women.

Do folks in the UK associate it with some sort of character flaw? Just wondering.

Btw, I have brown hair. I also think Prince Harry is a cutie.

My hair is dark brown naturally, and I even bleached bits in my fringe and dyed it kinda ginger lol.

If they make fun of red hair, they are insecure, jealous or have just grown up with people who dont like ginger hair, and follow them.

I'd say red hair on girls is ace but ginger hair on boys sucks. Just my opinion though. I just don't think it looks good %26gt;_%26gt;
