Hi everyone, this is my first posting to Yahoo! Answers, and I wanted to know, I have red hair and I wanted to use L'Oreal Color Pulse Mousse in Chilled Plum. Will the product work with my hair? P.S. my hair is closer to a copper than the usual red hair.

First you should not have any other color on your hair. You will see some color difference from your natural shade but it will not be the sample color on the packaging. I think that you should spend a little extra by buying the kit and testing it first. If it works out to your satisfaction, then go ahead and use it all over following the directions closely. If the color test does not work for you, all you've lost is a few dollars and you've saved yourself a whole lot of grief and or disappointment.

it technically should work, but i dunno how great the colors gonna turn, just cause red/copper to kinda purple is kinda weird, but it should work. i used it to go from brown to red...good luck!

IM SOO SORRY BUT NO IN 7TH GRADE I DIED MY HAIR BLACK ON LOREAL COLOR PULSE AND AFTER I TOOK A SHOWER IT TURNED PURPLE AND IT WAS PURPLE FOR 3 MONTHS!! JUST A HEAD UP =]

that color mousse stuff looks great- for about 3 shampoos before the vibrant color rinses out and the leftover color clings to your hair and looks dirty. dont mess with your beautiful red hair.
