Red hair fading ; never dyed it only highlighted?

my hair is naturally really red. i got blonde highlights about 6 months ago. since its summer , ive been in the sun alot and my red hair color has been fading. its turining more orangey then burgendy which it usually is. i dont like it. how do i stop my hair color from fading? any suggestions? thankss

Try wearing a hat. Your hair is 'going orange' because the sun is a 'bleach' and you aren't wearing a hat or scarf to cover it. Don't worry ... when your hair 'grows out' it will go back to it's natural 'burgundy' color.

get a shampoo and conditioner for red hair. they are great for natural reds. and sadly as you age your hair will fade my feancee's family is all red heads and I saw the pics his father was a deep dark red and now its almost blond and poor feance well he looks like a carrot but when he was a kid he had beutifull burgandy hair. its a shame

This might sound weird but if u get some cranberry juice and drench you're hair in for about 15 mins it will help keep you're hair from fading and also it will help keep the natural color of you're hair
